My 7th great-grandfather James Gilleland, Sr. (Anders line) was born on this day in 1745. No documentation on this one. In general, I am lacking documentation for James. He was a patriot of the American Revolution [1]. I am missing documentation for his birth and a deposition by his son Shepherd that discusses James' service during the War. Aside from his will, more solid documentation from him to his son William would also be nice. If you know of documentation for any of this, please leave a comment.
